J.G Hale Construction ltd. inspires young talent on Brecon scheme

We would like to thank Rhys Morgan, an admirably hard-working young man who has just completed 12-weeks’ work experience with us here at J.G Hale Construction Ltd.

Rhys worked on our site at Heol Y Ffynnon, Brecon, where we are building 32 units for our client Powys County Council.

The scheme is Powys County Council’s first affordable housing development for social rent in over 40 years. It is also our first ever contract for Powys Council and is part of a drive to provide more council housing in the area.

The innovative and attractive scheme, comprising a mix of flats and houses, has been commended by members of the BBNPA planning committee for its commitment to providing accessible recreation space and active travel.

Our Contracts Manager, Andrew Collins, said:

“Part of our ethos here at Hale is to nurture young talent and get people excited about construction as it is a fantastic industry to work in. We were delighted to work with Rhys who put in so much hard work while with us and clearly has a passion and flair for this industry and wish him well in his studies to become a quantity surveyor”
