Back to a new normal: an update from Jonathan Hale, Chairman

Given the unprecedented times we have navigated in recent months, we wanted to take this opportunity to update all of JG Hale Construction’s colleagues, clients, consultants and those in our supply chain on what we are, and have, been doing as a business in response to the challenges presented by COVID-19.

We remained open and operating throughout the crisis, though scaled back some sites and functions in line with government advice and guidelines.

As such, we are proud to have been able to continue to support our clients on construction sites across the UK through the crisis while taking all precautions to keep our staff and clients safe.

In partnership with the Construction Leadership Group, the government developed new Site Operating Procedures (SOP), which align with guidance from Public Health England. At JG Hale Construction we continue to follow them in all our working practices.

As of July, we are delighted to say we are fully functional, with all 16 of our construction sites open. All working in line with strict social distancing and safety measures.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our staff, clients, suppliers and other stakeholders for their dedication and understanding through such challenging times, which we continue to navigate together.

We continue to follow government guidance. We believe the role of the construction industry will now be central to economic recovery and we must work together and support each other with that in mind.
