
Jonathan Hale Managing Director
Jon's expertise comes from years of hands-on experience in the construction industry in South Wales. Jon trained as a carpenter when he was a teenager, achieving his City & Guilds qualification in carpentry and joinery. Jon founded Hale Construction in 1996. He is the driving force behind the succes of Hale Construction and sister company Seven Oaks Joinery.
The company is building Wales' first Code for Sustainable Homes Level 5 social housing scheme in Neath, and developing its own Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 in Swansea's prestigious SA1 development.

Kevin O'Mahony Contracts Director
Kevin began his career as a carpentry apprentice 30 years ago. Since then, he has worked as a Site Manager on large housing schemes, refurbishments and social housing projects. His expertise was recognised when he won an NHBC award site management on a development of executive homes.
Kevin joined Hale in 2000, brining his valuable contract management experience to the team. He is responsible for the repeated success on high profile housing contracts, upon which Hale has built its reputation. He is now Co Director at Hale, bringing his unparalleled technical and organisational skills to all aspects of the company.

Ceri Jones Finance Director
Since graduating from Oxford University with a MEng Honours Degree in Engineering, Ceri has pursued a successful career in finance and accounting. Ceri manages the finance teams at Hale Construction and Seven Oaks Joinery, coordinating all accounting and payroll functions.
Ceri’s roles include monitoring efficiency throughout the business and identifying cost savings at every stage. She has developed a cost management system to track key expenses on build elements throughout the life of a project, ensuring that Hale delivers cost effective solutions to its customers.

David Llewelyn Commercial Director
David has over 30 years experience in the construction industry, a BSc in surveying and an HND in construction. For 15 years, he worked in professional private practice on multi million pound developments, including Welsh Assembly schemes and heritage projects.
David joined Hale in 2006 and manages the quantity surveying team. He is an expert at bringing complex projects in on budget, and he has extensive contracts experience. He maintains responisbility for budget preparation, subcontract procurement, expenditure control and financial reporting within the company. In short, he ensures that Hale delivers on its promises.

Peter Powis Seven Oaks Manager
Seven Oaks is Hale’s sister company, specialising in the manufacture of timber frames for the sustainable construction sector. Peter has over 35 years experience in all aspects of construction and heads the team of dedicated Design Technicians at Seven Oaks. Continually, Peter and his team are improving and advancing the timber frame design.
Peter was instrumental in Seven Oak’s successful accreditation to ISO quality standards and ensured the company secured Q-Mark certification for In-house Design & Engineering. As the company continues to expand, Peter is overseeing the remodelling of the factory to ensure that Seven Oaks continues to meet the growing demand for sustainable construction solutions.
