Building lasting support in your community

The Ty Tywn Teg scheme creates a stimulating and social environment in the heart of Neath, where local people enjoy comfort, independence and care as they age.

The innovative design provides 54 flats in three interconnected blocks, with large communal spaces and first rate facilities. At the heart of the scheme is an ornamental garden space, where residents can relax and refresh. There is a dining area, bar, potting shed, roof terrace, onsite shop, activity rooms, I.T. suite and a hairdressers.

Carer families can live in 12 onsite bungalows, separate enough for residents to feel independent, but close enough to be reassuring.

Ty Tywn Teg showcases Hale’s commitment to responsible innovation. We insist on careful planning, quality design and local materials. The scheme regenerates a previously disused site, and uses sustainable timber frame construction and rendered cladding for increased insulation.

All flats are wheelchair accessible.

No wonder Ty Twyn Teg won a building control award for quality in Wales and now competes for the national award.
