Bluestone National Park

Description
Seven Oaks/Hale Construction Ltd was appointed a two stage arrangement to develop phase 3 at the Bluestone National Park Resort in Pembrokeshire. Stage one comprised of costing, value engineering, and design development. Stage two consisted of the planning and construction after already having successfully completing phase 2 in 2011 with the construction of 65 Timber Lodges at the resort.

Within the Bluestone Resort there are mainly 3 different types of eco-friendly lodges with the introduction of another lodge type (The Pembroke), a Village Hall and a Staff Lodge in Phase 3.

Points of Interest
The Lodges are made of timber frame including timber floor cassettes, timber cladding and timber roof shingles, and are finished to a high specification to meet the resort’s 5-star credentials. Works are being carried out adjacent to the existing resort and undertaken in a sympathetic and considerate way to minimise disruption to the resort users. Lodges are delivered in phases and handed over in accordance with agreed completion dates to suit holiday periods.
