Award-nominated Hale Construction Makes Key Appointments

LABCAward-nominated Neath-based JG Hale Construction Ltd has appointed three key members to its team in order to consolidate the group’s ongoing expansion strategy. The family-run company, which has been shortlisted in the national LABC industry awards; is forecasting a £26m turnover this year and has recently appointed a Development Officer, an Assistant Buyer and a Group Health and Safety Manager. Stephen Griffiths joins Hale from the Coastal Housing Group; Mike Whelan is Hale’s new Group Health and Safety Manager, working across Hale Construction and sister companies Hale Homes and Seven Oaks Joinery and Chris Davies becomes Assistant Buyer bringing his extensive buying experience gained over 16 years with builders merchants Selco, as well as working for merchants LBS and Travis Perkins. 21st century building winners

21st-century-building-winnersHale as a company are continually looking at ways to build partnerships within our local community. Having recently run a competition in conjunction with the art and design department at Neath Port Talbot College, we were overwhelmed with the number of entries from students. The competition brief was to draw a 21st century building and the winners artwork would be displayed in our newly refurbished boardroom. With prizes awarded of £100 and £75 for second and first place respectively. Their artwork now takes pride of place in our office. Read More »

Hale Homes to Support Ambitious Fundraising Event

Tour 94NEATH-based Hale Homes is supporting a local charity tour that is aiming to raise £20,000 for Cancer Research UK and Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. Tour 94 will see six friends from Skewen, near Neath, travel to the 92 English football league grounds as well as Wembley and the Millennium Stadium within the space of a week. The event will begin at Swansea City’s Liberty Stadium at 8.30am on July 25. The near 3000 mile journey will see the friends raise funds for their chosen charities as well as raise awareness for cancer and leukaemia by meeting survivors of the disease and carers who have helped family members.
